My mother is Taabe Peta-Toscano. I was born on March 27, 1954, 3:15 a.m. at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am given the Comanche name Kachada, meaning “white man,” by my mother Taabe a brilliant scientist and the daughter of Comanche Chief Peta, the leader of the Lords of the Plains.
